We are an Open and Affirming Church: We respect the worth and dignity of all persons who come into our church family regardless of their race, age, gender identity, nationality, marital standing, economic status, mental or physical challenges, or sexual orientation. We promise to support one another in our personal struggles, to understand and accept differences in one another, and pray to strengthen our love and acceptance.

REV. SUE LATOURETTE, PASTOR

Rev. Sue Latourette began serving our church in 2011.  She brings creative ideas to worship and seeks to build community in church and town.    Sue has been on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Eastern CT and currently on Keeping North Stonington Affordable, Inc. board, with the view that available housing is a justice issue.  Sue is interested in music, art, environment and immigration issues.

MICHAEL G. NOONAN
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC & ORGANIST

Michael G. Noonan has served our church since 1987.  He began studying organ with the late Dr. Roberta Bitgood, a past president of the American Guild of Organists, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Mystic, CT at the age of 15.  Mr. Noonan’s professional affiliations include The American Guild of Organists, Handbell Musicians of America, and United Church of Christ Musicians Association.  He resides in North Stonington with his wife, Gretchen. They have two grown children.

Rosemary has served as the friendly voice on the phone since 1984.  She is incredibly helpful to staff, members and anyone who calls or stops in.  If you need to arrange for the use of a room or schedule something she is the one to talk to.  Rosemary lives locally and enjoys time with family and friends.

MARGARET LEONARD
CHURCH SCHOOL COORDINATOR

Margaret cares deeply for our young people.  She is leading our children's programs and helping us provide a safe, welcoming and supportive place for children to explore their faith, learn coping skills, absorb the biblical stories, and build their relationships with one another and the world.
